Or in Mexico! ;-)
Oh I love these! The red looks fab and that highlight too! I can't remember if we have these or not - I remember DH was taken with them when we saw them in a mall in Kuwait, but can't remember if we bought them! I'll have to get out my Christmassy things now just to see!
Hot little things!
these are wonderful! i forget sometimes that not everyone's christmas is about snow and ice. peppers are very christmassy. spicey reds, and ever greens. perfect. delicious. heeeeewhat a perfect time of year this is.love, cat
Splendid piece! I just untangled my pepper lights the other night. Love the whimsy in this ;)
I have not seen one yet but it must very beautiful like your illustration.
very nice, you captured them wonderfully. i didn't know they had those kind of lights, lots of icicle lights here... very cold and wet right now.
they look good enough to eat!
I love the pattern feel -- this is a great "little" piece.
Oh yeah, those lights would be perfect for a southwest xmas!
perfect, cute as can be!
Do the peppers get "hot" when they've been on too long? (drum fill.)
I love those lights! Oh how I wish I could visit the southwest sometime soon. Love, Wyanne
Thanks everyone. This was one of those whimsical things that I just felt like doing. Glad you enjoyed them. It is odd to not have snow for Christmas but love the 'Feliz Navidad' here.
Oh yeah, I love these things--need to get me some someday. The way you rendered this makes a real nice composition here Teri.
These are the cutest little lights and VERY much in the spirit of the Southwest! Are they strung yet?Ronell
You are always making me miss the Southwest! I always especially loved the Christmas season out there - it seemed so much less "corny" than in the east. Chile peppers, luminarias, biscochitos and the smell of pinon burning in fireplaces....sigh....Thanks for posting this - you did a great job on it!
Everyone can use a little more spice in their Christmas. Thank you for reminding me of the quarky Southwest.
fun illustration… so, do you deck the halls with boughs of chilis?
cool, love that southwest feel - i have a string of these somewhere!
Great Work, very nice and cute!www.ruisousaartworks.blogspot.com
