The theme word at Illustration Friday this week is 'Save'.Living in an area where hot chilis are routinely used in cooking, I need saving in the form of TUMS....lots of tums!
This is a small selection of those chilies classified as hot and good.
Happy Illustration Friday!

These are great!
The hotter the better!
Muy caliente, amiga!! Very nice greens, and the chipotle looks wonderfully dried!!
Nice colors and varieties. I love hot chillis too.
nooooo not for me,but a good idea for this topic.
love em!
I love chillis, but I can only name a few common type. Lovely chillis' drawing you have here.
Hmmmm! Just finished some Thai food for lunch, not sure which pepper is used but nice and spicy! Your peppers are so animated, great work!
They look delicious , great illo ~!
Those hot chilis look ominous. I think it is the tomato part of the dinners that get my tummy roiling. I don't eat hot peppers often so I guess I don't really know. I like your painting.
Great work, and a nice big preview! At first glace I thought you were gonna talk about saving seeds!
Now I will know which is which... And hopefully remember never to rub my nose if I am fixing chili peppers. YIKES.
I loved your desert wildflowers!
Gosh , you are right on top of things...nice colorful and playful post...those habeneros all alone are lethal...however, I do have some peach habenero ambrosia sauce in the fridge that is delish over cream cheese! :)
Yammmm, I love spicy food and these peppers look perfect!

or a hot chili's ire!
I love capsicum. I always like pepper drawings and illustrations.
Great drawing. I love peppers, the hotter the better. The first place I had back in California I had room to really garden vegetables. Tucked all through was every kind of pepper you could imagine. Don't miss the house or the neighborhood, but I do miss the garden.
Hmmmm...hot! hot! hot! I can taste those peppers, this illustration makes me miss New Mexico and Mexico! I don't want to be saved from them! lol! Great Job!

This is great! I feel like printing it out as a reference so i know what to get at the store... we're not quite as chile-savvy in new England! (p.s. - I won't print it out - I'll just memorize it:>)
I must say I am a huge fan of chilies; eating would be very boring without them. That said, it is imperative that tums be on hand. Nice concept and illustration.
Long live the hot peppers! Pretty picture!
