Illustration Friday - Strings

The theme word at Illustration Friday this week is 'Strings'.
Don't you think those filaments on this Yellow Bird of Paradise look like strings?

I love playing with this black paper.

I forgot they are called filaments. I would have just called them those "stringy things." Nice color contrast against the dark background.
