The theme word at Illustration Friday this week is 'Balloon'.I dug right into my archives to find these (perfect for the word) ones that I did a few years ago. DH received a hot air balloon ride as a birthday gift, and I got one also so I could go with him.
You need to know I am afraid of heights but I sucked it up, got brave and went up with him.
It was awesome!!!!!! Not scary at all.

You lived the dream! The colors in these illustrations are so beautiful. I have seen photos of the balloon days in your part of the country and always wished I could be there to take my own photos.

wow reminds me the time i was driving in NY and there up a head was a mass of hot air balloons in the sky. I quick pulled over to the side and let my kids out so we all could enjoy em with out crackin up. nice pic, sorry u couldnt enjoy your ride more.
