What Was Lost..............

What was lost
Was found.
What was found
Is loved!!
At least a month ago, Marianne and I decided to exchange Moo cards.
She got mine and hers disappeared somewhere in the desert.
We think Clint Eastwood found them, loved them and kept them.
So being the wonderful person Marianne is, she prepared another package of her beautiful Moo cards plus a few extra wonders, and sent them on a fast plane. Clint didn't find them this time.
We came home from being gone all day and there in the mailbox was the second package........and the first one she mailed.
Isn't that the stangest thing?! Mailed a month ago and a few days ago and they arrived on the same day.
So I preceeded to open them and WOWZERS, there were five more Moos and two SPECTACULAR mandalas!!!!!!!!!!!
Isn't this cactus mandala wonderful?

And this one is so gorgeous!!!
Marianne is the mandala Queen!

And then

wonder of wonders

there was Sjimmie looking at me.
The original Sjimmie that Marianne painted for our Cactus Monday logo.

I was just astounded!!!!!

And did a major happy dance.

He is going to be framed and hung on my wall.

Isn't Marianne just an awesome friend?!!!!

Saying 'thank you' doesn't even begin to express how thankful I am for having Marianne as a friend.

And Sjimmie also makes it a Happy Animal Wednesday!!

HAW indeed. You are twice blessed with packages. You lucky lady. That Marianne is the Queen of Mandalas and she is most generous.

Oh WOW you got the original Sjimmie! How cool is that.

Last year a local friend mailed a present to my daughter. It never showed up. We both said oh no, too bad, sorry, thanks anyhow.

A month and a half later it showed up- smooshed, squashed, battered, someone had spilled water on it making all but a few bits of the address illegible. That box needed serious therapy. But the contents were in perfect condition!

Wonderful to be blessed with so many beautiful things and expected/unexpected packages and such a wonderful friend as Marianne. I think clint read your blog and decided you deserved the package more than he and sent it on.

What a great artist she is...and to send them to another great artist, YOU! Glad they both arrived, so worth the wait and what fun to receive so much beauty.
What are MOO cards? Same as ATCs?
Wondering.

Thanks everyone. Moo cards are printed cards smaller than business cards and the back is printed with whatever you want. You can find them through Flickr.

Aw, how fabulous Teri. I'm loving the idea that Clint Eastwood got hold of your parcel! Great post, if you'd like to do a Moo swap sometime, give me a shout.
