This is a scrappy nine-patch quilt top that I just finished sewing. I got so into my art I won't even tell you how long it took me to finish this.
I just bought the above fabric for the back (I bet you knew it was going to be a daisy design), now it goes back to Wisconsin for machine quilting by my daughter's friend.

I have two boxes of fabric that I brought to Tucson three years ago and have not looked in them until today.
I actually laughed because these are so me: bright happy colors with great designs. No surprise that there were so many 'daisy' fabrics.
I think I will be making another scrap quilt. Or two.
I love scrappy quilts.

Absolutely gorgeous, Teri!! Quilting is something I've never done, though I do sew. Love the backing material of daisies - very fitting!!
Looking forward to the next one!
OOOH, very nice Mom, it looks GREAT!
The backing is Soooo you.
This is marvelous Teri. I just love quilts. I have often thought Imight make one. I know it takes a lot of stick-to-it work. I can't hardly sew a straight line though. UGH... Do you use a sewing machine to put it together?
I love your stash of material. All of those daisy patterns. I can see a daisy quilt coming on. Maybe pillows to match??
A wonderful quilt. I dont have the patience to quilt but I do adore them.
That's a gorgeous scrappy quilt top you made! I used to make and sell mini scrap quilts, and got into collecting vintage fabrics and feedsacks for a while.
That's a beauty! My mother quilted and I have a few of her quilts, my brothers and I divided them up and she had given each of us some also. Very pretty!
Oh .....that seems like a lot of work :(
But I bet you feel extremely content now! What an achievement!
The boxes with little fabric look so nice!
and the result of your hardwork stunning!!!!!!
OMYGOD I had no idea you even quilted! Sewed! Wow a whole nother side of you! This is a terrific quilt Teri! Just scattered with joy all over it and of course the back daisies are delightful too.
Have fun with those boxes of fabrics as I look forward to quilt number two!
How many have you made in the past that I do not know about? Why don't you get a free motion foot for your sewing machine and zentangle the top your self? Or stitch in the ditch it? Wow!!!!
Gorgeous quilt!
so many bloggers are multitalented, i see you are one of them. so tell, why do you actually love daisies so much? do a post on it for us please.
Teri, this is a gorgeous quilt!! I love the backing and all the bright colours of the charms. I don't quilt any more, just don't have the space to set up mu machine here. I never tried a charm quilt. It's really lovely!
Thanks everyone. I have been quilting a long time. I am going to do a post on Saturday so I have enough time to think of all the quilts I have made and see if I can find any photos.
I love blowing you out of the water Lynn. I have done machine quilting but I gave that machine to my oldest daughter who is a major quilter and she likes to machine quilt. She has done way more than me.
You did all of that by hand!!!! The quilt is beautiful! Love the backing! What size is the quilt?
You are sooooo talented!
In answer to your question, I machine sewed the top together and it is 88in. by 110 inches. it is for our queen size bed and should be long enough to go over the pillows.
You are something, now sewing!
This is so, so wonderful! You actually got it together...
I have one pieced, but not totally quilted better get with it... when? Yikes! And another batiked in Indigo... hm!
Have a great evening my friend!
Teri -- this is sO beautiful (as are the sky pictures)!! I still have an applique top I quilted 10 years ago that is still unfinished!! SIGH! Yep, art can be so consuming! LOL
Wow, you quilt is gorgeous! I love scrappy quilts too! I'm sure this can't have been on the go as long as mine - about 5 years and counting!
Teri - this nine patch is wonderful - I'm very impressed and the backing will add to it. I have two that are waiting for machine quilting - just got to get my act together to send them off!
Beautiful work...You surely are a woman of many talents! :)
