"The Shack" is the most powerful book I have ever read! I was so moved by it that I wanted to tell you all to read this book.
It is written by Wm. Paul Young as told to him by his friend who had this intense religious experience.

There is one section in the book that describes light in a particular circumstance and I was moved to paint this image."To know God is to understand love and to understand love is to know God."
It is certainly the perfect book for a Sunday post and better than going to church.

A book that touched me beyond words is The Road by Comack Mccarthy read recently!
Lynn, if you believe in God, then you will love it. Doesn't matter what your belif system is unless you are an atheist.

Wish I could read ....I think I would need that. Just an hour ago I saw the Mission and it left me so depressed , such a beautiful movie but confronting, also how ugly the world can be sometimes.......

I just bought this book Saturday - a co-worker highly recommenede it - I love inspirational / spiritual books that take my thinking in fresh loving directions! glad you posted for others to see.
