Blooming Tuesday - Blooming ATCs

I have been a blooming ATCer lately!
All these summer flowers inspire me so much I can't stop painting them.
(all are traded or given away)
I did these daisies on black paper and just love the dramatic effect of them.
Curiously the white changes as the card is moved.

A white coneflower that I ended up using acrylic white to paint the petals.

Then I got onto a tulip kick and did these three.

Open tulip.

Tulip number three.

Here's the story on this yellow zentangle daisy.
I painted the daisy and didn't like it so I decided to just do a little zentangling around it and now I love it.
It actually traded away on 'ATCs For All' ten minutes after I posted it! Good for the ego lol.

This ATC is called a 'Twinchie'. I keep learning new things about ATCs.
It is 2 inches by 2 inchies card that you do the same things on as the 2.5 x 3.5 ATC.
And SO much more manageable that an inchie (1x1 inch).
I have a set of tradeable ATCs on Flickr and the link is on my sidebar also.
Happy blooming Tuesday everyone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH!

Oh boy! Your packet arrived. And yes, it certainly did CHEER ME UP! This week has been challenging. Lew brought in the Mail and said, "Look here, look here, what you got in the Mail." He gets as excited as I do because he knows what a treat it will be. I am so happy the open tulip is blooming at my house. The watercolor pencil drawing is wonderful. You must keep trying with this medium. The CM card is great and WOW for the inchies.

I have some goodies for you, too. I have been working for weeks on getting my ATCs in the mail to my blogger friends. I am soooo slow because I wanted to include some "sussies" (little gifts). Hope they bring you as much joy as yours have brought to me.

With much affection, Judy

all are fabulous but esp love the zentangle flower. Now here, coneflowers (echineacia) have yellow leaves or at least I think the do.

The daisy on the black paper came up so beautifully! I like what you did with the mesh background... good you didn't give up. Just enough background not to overwhelm the image. Great job!

The yellow Zentangle daisy steals the whole show! How funny that you didn't like it until you started zentangling around it. Black and white is a fantastic background for the bright yellow daisy.
