I did this unopened sunflower with Sharpies just to see if I could 'paint' with them. 
I found these gaillardia in my neightbors garden and used spatter for the background.This ATC is available.
There are flowers blooming everywhere!!!

Yay! you discovered Sharpies! Amazing what can be done with them. I use them to paint on gourds. Now I will have to try on paper! For some reason I don't have the mental blocks with them in my hand that I experience with a paint brush!
