Illustration Friday - 'Hollow'

The theme word at Illustration Friday this week is 'Hollow'.
Since we are out of town (again) for a wedding, I am using this sunflower with the 'hollow' stem for the illustration.
Happy Illustration Friday everyone.

These colors are so bright, the lines are so cool, you are such a good artist! Wow-zers (as you say!). ATC: "metal daisy" coming to you soon.

great with that background!
Have a nice weekend!

While the daisy is beautiful the background really makes it pop. You are having the summer of wedding attendance. Isn't it funny how weddings seem to come in batches.

I like it very much - did you paint the blue after the yellow? That's what it looks like to me. I'm not trying to be all technical but I find myself disecting other's work so I can learn how it's done. I'm very much self taught and I'm fascinated by the whole process!

This is so lovely!! It zings with colour! Funny how many stems are hollow - I've just completed a painting of amaryllis - (posting later) theirs are also hollow.
