The theme word at Illustration Friday this week is 'afterwards'.
This painting is an exercise from the book, "Creative Watercolor Workshop" by Mark Mehaffey. This kind of wet-in-wet--let it dry--then more wet-in-wet is something I have never done plus the color combination was also very different from my usual palette.
'Afterwards' I realized how much I liked doing this kind of painting.
Happy Illustration Friday everyone!
