Illustration Friday - 'Afterwards'

The theme word at Illustration Friday this week is 'afterwards'.

This painting is an exercise from the book, "Creative Watercolor Workshop" by Mark Mehaffey.  This kind of wet-in-wet--let it dry--then more wet-in-wet is something I have never done plus the color combination was also very different from my usual palette.
'Afterwards' I realized how much I liked doing this kind of painting.

Happy Illustration Friday everyone!

I like your watercolor work. The colors are really pretty the way they blend and run into one another. Nice work!

This reminds me so much of WHATS HIS NAME whose name escapes me! But he does landscapes in these vibrant colors and it works so well.

Teri, girlfriend, THIS could hang in a renowned gallery!!!! Picture it 4'x4' over a sofa or fireplace. WHOA!!!!

Keep on, keepin' on ♥
