Illustration Friday - 'Swell'

The prompt at Illustration Friday this week is 'SWELL'.  I had a piece of watercolor paper that was a failure so I wondered how a zentangle would look on it.  I kept it on the table next to my art stuff and worked on it in bits and pieces.  It just kept swelling.
Something totally different than I normally do.
It's fun having the watercolor already down and then work on it.

I did this before my surgery.

Happy Illustration Friday everyone.

Ooooh.....amazing... your drawing suits the word....it somehow resembles a jellyfish, drifting among the *swelling* waves!

Beautiful!

Hugs to you and *Nurse* Sunshine!

This swelled to beautiful proportions. I love the colorful background. It is no longer a failure.

We just saw the documentary 'First Life' by David Attenborough. Your 'Swell' reminds me of colourful eukaryotes. :-)

I'm definitely seeing the jellyfish in the zentangle here, although eukaryotes are a good possibility too. This is by no means a failure, very thought-provoking...
