Illustration Friday - 'Popularity'

The prompt at Illustration Friday this week is 'Popularity'.

I always knew that daisies were loved by many people but the popularity of 'painted daisies' surprised me last week.

Let me explain: a few days ago I received an email from a company requesting credit information!  So I sent them a "what the hell are you talking about" email and they were very nice and investigated the issue.  Turns out there is a company called "Painted Daisies" in the midwest that did buy something from the first company.  The first company made the mistake of assuming an email address and it was not the right one and thats how I got involved.  Thank goodness it was an honest company that got to the bottom of the issue and apologized.

I have used this image in the past when I could 'flip' an image from light to dark, can't do that anymore.

Happy Illustration Friday!

Hi,Teri,
The painting is very impressive. So sorry for the story, but relieved with the happy ending. A good lesson for readers living in throat cutting net world.
Cheers,Sadami

Teri,
Well that must have been unsettling, but it's good to hear it turned out well. How interesting to find the very same name used, as it is quite different - I wonder what they sell?
I also like this illustration - the colours do look so vivid against the dark background. Why will you not be able to do more of these?

Love this painting. And how lucky for you that you got that mess straightened out! Being on the Internet is so risky these days. I'm glad it all worked out well.
