It started snowing yesterday at 8am and I took these photos about 2pm.
Hmm, I wondered how my Prickly Pear Cactus looked in the snow!
Took this out the front window. Notice the bird feeder; the birds were mobbing it, poor things.
Notice also the Christmas tree on the window ledge. Since all of our Christmas decorations are in Arizona, I bought this so we would have something Christmasy.
It snowed all day and into the night...
This is the view out our back door at 7am.
Snow does make a beautiful scene.
Happy Snowy Cactus Monday!
I had to edit this to add the next photo taken from the road in front of our house.
Our neighbor is snow blowing our driveway..... doesn't get any better than this;
beauty and great neighbors!

I am sure your Prickly Pear Cactus is happy with it's snowy blanket to keep it warmer. It is cold here and looks like snow but no snow in the forcast. Too bad. I love snow, especially when I don't have to work. :) HCM.
Scenes from a Fairy Tale.... I can almost hear melodies from *The Nutcracker* or *Sleeping Beauty*...
I do feel for the Birdies and for all outdoors *critters* in Wintertime...
It's wonderful you are there this year to help sustain them - at least for a few more weeks.
I trust Lisa's judgement about the Prickly Pear....
It's sunny here in SF...no rain for a few days - and (sorry) a high of 65 expected...

p.s. Love that little Christmas Tree Ornament ♥
These are such lovely pictures, Teri,
and don't you love the quiet of the snow - there is something magical about it.
And wonderful to have a helpful neighbour with a snow blower!
Yes, I think the cactus will be grateful for the blanket of snow! :)
