I finally feel like I can see the light at the end of the cleaning tunnel so when I found a set of these cups I decided to take some time off to sketch one.
Love the graphic look.
Since I didn't have a cactus sketch for today, well, I just added one in the background. :)
I also got my art room in some kind of order. it is actually in my laundry room....hey, whatever works. You can see the cup sitting there as I worked on it.

These cactus sketches of yours are like a bit of sunshine in my day. I like the cup too. The first time I have seen a chubby kokopelli. :) HCM.
I am *echoing* Lisa's comment! Seeing that Kokopelli cup makes me yearn to be back in the Southwest.....sigh... but, flying to NY tomorrow to spend some time with Chris and Bofie...so I will be headed toward more cold....brrr....

I do think the cactus works well with the subject matter. :) What did it take you.. a week to get things cleaned? How does a place get dirty sitting there empty? :)
