Lee Lee Oriental Market

We have a new market in town that we were curious about so we went over there.  If you have never been in an oriental market you are in for a big surprise.  There is so much food, canned and fresh, that I have never even heard of, it is amazing.
The fish counter has so many different kinds of fish....course 'salmon heads' and 'carp' were disgusting.  We throw those away.

This crab was laying in a pan of water where you could pick one out of.  It was fun painting it.  Have no idea what kind it is.

I found out that someone else has been stealing my art.  Very depressing.
I need to take a break from sharing my art and decomp.  It's just not fun anymore.

The watermark I use is an ipad app called "Impression" if anyone needs to protect their art.  There are probably more to be found on the Internet but I haven't looked.

Have a good day.

What a bummer Teri that your art is being stolen. Hard to believe. Your crab is cute. I can just imagine how those fish heads looked. UGH..

Teri, The colours in this crab are interesting, and it's a great sketch. I enjoy the sights, and smells of shopping in an Asian market. Haven't been to one since movint here, but lov3ed the ones in Vancouver.
I'm really sorry to read that someone has been stealing your art. I did download some of your lovely paintings and put them on my Kindle, but I don't think that's what you mean? I then can look at them, and be reminded of you. :)
Wishing you a good day!

Brenda, I love that you do that, you are a good friend and I am honored. However, people that take your art and call it their own is just plain theft. I feel bad that people seem to have no integrity anymore. And it isn't just me, I am finding out there are a lot of people that it is happening to. Kind of takes the joy out of doing art when it takes as much time to protect my art as it is to make it.
Hugs to you my friend.

This crab is very well painted, especially as it was from real life. Sorry that you have had trouble with protecting your work. (wonder how you discovered the problem..I'm going to look into Impression - thanks). Hope you will be back soon.

Great sketch Teri and I don't even like crabs LOL.

We have a Asian store here and reading the cans and pkgs. is a lesson in itself. Yuck...not my kind of food but it gets sold.

How Frustrating that your art is being stolen. I've had it happen several times but I don't think anyone has harvested anything of mine off the internet -- but maybe I haven't looked in the right place.

I'm very impressed by your crab!
