Out My Kitchen Wiindow

The theme this week at Flickr's Urban Sketchers is 'out my kitchen window'.
This is my view of the orange tree next door.  Still lots of oranges hanging on there even after the 'big chill' we had.

Have a great weekend

Oranges on trees...I miss that. Are they ripe yet, hopefully they are OK, too. But glad Great Lakes and Southwest weather have reverted back to their rightful places...

The splattered effect is really nice for the foliage especially.

Oh to have fresh Oranges. The one I ate for breakfast was so pithy.. ugh. Nice job on the painting. Pick me a good one will ya? :)

They are ripe and they are yummy. And they need to be eaten soon as the orange blossoms will start in March.

Oh, and the leaves were 'painted' with a sponge dipped in green. It does work just great for that effect.

I can almost feel the warmth of the sun, just by viewing this picture. The dappled effect of the sun through the leaves is very pretty.
Happy Friday! :)

what a cool sketch teri! love the colors and effect.

the produce from down south is looking pretty sad at the grocery stores these days. I was told they're had a lot of frost in Mexico and CA recently. Looks like you've had some rain where you are!

Happy Weekend, G

This is a cheerful painting, and I came over to say hi, from I love a cloudy day blog.

Nice to see an orange tree! Our neighborhoods orange trees are all gone after hurricanes! So sad!
