Red Hat Contest

Most of my readers know Elva who is a fabulous nature artist, but this post is about her daughter, Lita.
Lita is also an artist as well as an author and illustrator of children's books.  Her website is here.http://www.litajudge.net    You need to visit there and view all of her pages.  She is so interesting and her art is wonderful.

In preparation for the release of her new children's book, "Red Hat" she is having a 'red hat contest'.  Look here for some delightful red hats.
I sent her two of my red hats that I had painted in the past but after reading all about her I was inspired to paint this one and write a haiku for her.   (Every daisy needs a red hat!)
If you want to take a photo of someone wearing a red hat or you want to paint a red hat, there is a place to send it via email on the contest page.

I may just have to buy her new book for the kid in me!

Lita is just a delightful person.

What a fun idea and a nice lady, just watched her video. I will have to see if I can find a red hat for Snuffs to wear. Your daisy is adorable.
