Watercolor And Ink Play

This color zen happened this way:  I was playing with watercolor wet-in-wet, then I dug out my Noodlers fountain pen, cleaned it and filled it with ink.  Next I decided to have some ink fun.  This is the result.
One thing I learned was I don't like my Noodler pen; it doesn't hold a lot of ink but mostly because the tip is scratchy.  I could get a new tip but this is only a $14 pen, so I will put it away again and maybe sometime in the future I'll give it a go again.
I think part of the reason I don't like it because I love my Lamy pen so much which holds a lot of ink and writes and sketches just beautifully.

Happy Tuesday

Lovely work.. is the Lamy pen expensive? Worth it if you love it.

I love this piece Teri - I also just ordered a lamy pen from Jet Pens - always looking for that magic pen! But it sounds like you got a dipping pen - is that so? I ordered a fountain pen.

Anyway - I love this piece, it;s lovely

The Lamy pen is a fountain pen that I received as a gift so am not sure of the price. It's not a dip pen but rather one that you fill. I've been using "Noodlers Black Eel" and love how dark it is. I got a few ink samples from Goulet pens. So far, the black eel is my fav.
