"Attic" As A Prompt

The prompt at "Woven Dreams' this week is "Attic".
I decided to take a trip down memory lane.

"The Attic Of My Childhood"
A trip down memory lane

The Attic is:
A place for storage
Toys
Clothes
Christmas decorations
Boxes of pictures
Holding secrets

I loved searching through the boxes
Enjoying old toys
Trying Mom's clothes on
Looking at my books
Rocks
Postcards
Old letters
Pictures
Looking for secrets.
And I did find a few.

Memory sketches are fun.  Try it sometime.

Check over at Geraldine's "Woven Dreams" for more entries.

Oh I just love this Teri, great job with the prompt. Your sketch is so cool and I love your poem too. Felt like I was there.

I think this is going to be a fun prompt for all participants. So looking forward to reading the interpretations.

"See" you tomorrow, G :<)

Lovely memories. I never did live in a house with an Attic tho. but old movies show some fun things stored in them. :)

A very creative way to show the attic you visualize, with color, image and words composition.

I really like your poem - it reminded me of the closet my parents kept old clothes, boxes, and various items in (we didn't really have an attic). But I used to try on my Mom's clothes, too.

I love this! And the watercolour shows such a lovely, happy attic. :-)
